Our mission is to bring local, Catholic, homeschooling families together for fun, fellowship, and to support each other in matters of faith, family life, and education.
We meet for field trips, academic fairs, spiritual activities, social and other events. Our email group provides information about upcoming events and offers the opportunity to communicate with other members of the group about topics pertaining to parenting, homeschooling, Catholicism, and prayer requests.
We're open to all Catholic families who are homeschooling — or considering it. If you're still weighing whether homeschooling could work for your family, come to an event and talk with parents who've been there. There's no minimum commitment and no experience required.
Seasonal / Liturgical gatherings: We come together through the year for academic events and to celebrate the liturgical year with social gatherings. We are planning: a fall recitation day, an Advent or winter saint feast day party (TBD), an art and music fair In the spring, and a picnic to close out the year.
Field trips: Apple orchards, museums, historical sites, and outdoor activities. Three field trips are scheduled for October, January, and March. Any member family is welcome to organize a trip at any time.
Summer park days and hikes Informal gatherings to keep the community connected through the summer months.
Support for parents Evenings for mothers to gather, share what's working, and encourage one another through the long stretches.
Faith at the center Spiritual activities that keep the faith at the heart of our children's education and our life together as families.
